WHO IS GOOD YOU OR ME?

WHO IS GOOD YOU OR ME?

Everyday each one of moves through a lot of different states of moods, it can be either positive or negative . Actually we have never thought who is dominating our thought process or are we our own boss .Stress , pressure and sometimes overload of work has become a usual pattern for all of us. We never recognize that its high time to seek help. Now you may be thinking whom should i seek help ? who is more perfect than me to deal within such kind of issues?

So the first thing we can do is look into ourselves accept that I have both sides both Iam good in somethings as well as I have one dark side too. In certain areas i need to improve myself but where? The answer is just simple just look into yourself are you a person who judge a person on how he looks this mainly happens in the social media platforms right ......?

We are becoming blind we arejust accepting things which will follow our norms and the rest of the things will be completly filled with hatred and tons and tons of negative humiliating comments and with that the spread of hatred. most probably people judge a book by its cover . We see something wrapped in old rags and assume that it is just rubbish inside, but it could just as easily be a nugget of gold.  When we first see someone, it is easy to make judgements about them based upon their appearance, to make judgements about their character, habits or beliefs before we ever get to know them. The prejudices can be so very wrong. Beneath that shabby exterior, could beat a heart of gold. Behind the fine clothes and smiling face there could be a mind of pure evil. We should not judge people by their appearances.

Next is we should accept others, this is needed mainly in relationships. other than love and trust acceptance is a key factor of a healthy relationship.as everybody is not perfect each one has their own up and down , so one way or the other our imperfections make our life more beautiful and it gives out it colours

This pandemic are making us to stay with our loved ones , i wish all of you to spread the happiness and love instead .Finally we got an answer to this title right yes we are good and smart too right.

A HIDDEN SECRET IN OUR SOCIETY  !
HE IS THE REAL EVIL

The love of money is the root cause of all evils,When you first read it, it doesn’t seem that it could be true. It seems as if there are all kinds of things more evil then loving money. And on the surface it doesn’t seem that loving money could lead to all other kinds of evil.Exploitation shall include, at a minimum, the exploitation of the prostitution of others or other forms of sexual exploitation, forced labor or services, slavery or practices similar to slavery, servitude or the removal of organs.”

ORGAN TRAFFICKING

In most countries, the buying and selling of organs is illegal (e.g., Iran is the only country in the world where buying and selling an organ is legal but this exception only applies to its citizens). Conversely, there are few laws that restrict an individual from leaving one’s country to obtain an organ from someone abroad. In fact, there are many companies that cater to “transplant tourism” but purport to only match up recipients with donors who are willing.

Organ traffickers profit in the shadows, while their destructive medical footprint is the only thing that is felt. It leaves vulnerable populations,  “donors,” and first world beneficiaries, “recipients,” open to severe exploitation and a lifetime of health consequences. The most prominent organs that are traded illicitly are kidneys, with the World Health Organization (WHO) estimating that 10,000 kidneys are traded on the black market worldwide annually, or more than one every hour. There is no reliable data on organ trafficking, but the World Health Organization (2004) believed it to be steadily on the increase, with brokers charging wealthy recipients $100,000+ and giving impoverished donors as little as $1,000, both amounts in U.S. dollars. It is also estimated that 10% of the organ transplants done globally are completed using black market organs (Negri, 2016; United Nations, 2018). Cultural and religious customs ban or discourage some individuals from donating organs willingly or receiving post-mortem organ donations (World Health Organization, 2004). Illegal organ harvesting generally is not harvesting organs from willing donors going against cultural laws for the sake of philanthropy, but harvesting from unwilling or uninformed donors through exploitation of impoverished, indebted, homeless, uneducated, and refugee people (United Nations, 2018).

CAUSES

Financial crisis or even debt is one of the major reason behind organ trafficking

Unable to obtain an organ at home, patients from rich countries might choose to travel to developing countries, where they can buy the organ and have it transplanted. In the developing countries, organ brokers lure poor, uneducated individuals into selling their kidney through the promise of financial gain and a better future. Economic need drives most organ sellers, but in some cases  actual coercion is used. Such cross-border form of organ trafficking is known as “transplant tourism.”

HAZARDS FACED BY DONOR

  •  pain,
  • spasms and pricking related to their well-healed surgical scar
  • tiredness,
  •  weakness,
  • dizziness,
  • inability to work,
  •  ‘half man syndrome’, a feeling of incompleteness,
  • emptiness in abdomen and lack of sexual potency, with fear and anxiety about the remaining kidney if the kidneys are donated.
  •   high level of anxiety, hopelessness, insomnia, crying spells, loss of appetite and loss of peace.
  •   feelings of regret and shame

MAJOR THREATS

  • Brokers or dealers who get paid high for this illegal activity so they force poor people to do it
  • Medical evil hands behind this huge trafficking even some patients are not even aware that their organ or tissue is being removed
  • The main  problem is a lack of willingness to enforce the law: While a legal prohibition may exist, governments often make little effort to stop the trade.
  •  Many people especially from donor side accept the selling of kidneys as a legitimate solution for the shortage of money.

SOLUTION

  •  Legislative prohibitions ie; ultimately mean little without vigorous enforcement, which requires sustained pressure on government authorities. Since the organ trade ranks low in the latter’s priorities, it is the job of the medical community, civil society .

  • The social media should  raise voice against this and public awareness as well as demand action should be given  importance.

  •  Tough enforcement, alongside policies to encourage altruistic organ donation, will go a long way toward abolishing the organ trade.

 TIP TO KEEP IN MIND

A small advise please donate organs if you are healthy enough to the needed after your life, sometimes  a situation may arise where you have to donate an organ to your loved ones or fellow human beings please go ahead this article is not for you people. Please do not sell human organs worth it to the end .

MILLION DOLLAR HABITS TO BE MORE SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE

When we talk about habits, we know that not all habits are good. The bad habits are basically the negative behavior pattern that keeps you away from accomplishing your dreams, whereas good habits are those that helps you achieve your goals. There are many important qualities that can contribute to a person’s achievements and happiness, but there is only one that begets sustainable, long-term success in all aspects of life: self discipline. Whether in terms of your diet, fitness, work ethic or relationships,  self discipline is the number one trait needed to accomplish goals, lead a healthy lifestyle, and ultimately, be happy.

 Create  own routine

It can be easy to pile on tasks and promises, but a calendar, planner, or schedule will keep you on track. A schedule will help you plan your day so that you get everything done on time. It will also help you understand what commitments you do and do not have time for.Use a paper planner or a desk calendar. Alternatively, download a scheduling app on your phone, like Google Calendar or Outlook.Block off realistic amounts of time for each task. If you’re uncertain how long a task will take, give yourself extra time to complete it.For larger goals, like writing a book or losing weight, set small, daily tasks that you can do to work towards this goal. For example, you might set a daily word count to achieve or plan specific meals to eat each day.Don’t forget to plan in breaks as well! Don’t schedule anything else for that day or time.

Waking up early

One of the core habits of successful people is that they get out of bed early. It provides them a sense of confidence to plan things ahead so that they can easily accomplish their daily tasks. They make use of this time by involving in exercise and planning the activities of the entire day.

 Daily meditation or mindfulness practice

a guided meditation to help you develop your skill of being mindful and present.  It will reduce your stress level,  as well as improve your overall health and well being when practiced regularly. You may have heard that mindfulness — the ability to be fully present in the moment — can have numerous benefits, everything from decreased stress and sadness to increased levels focus and happiness, according to general mindfulness research. But what exactly is mindfulness? And, how can you recognize it and reap its many benefits? Mindfulness meditation practice is one way to truly experience the current moment and integrate that awareness into your everyday life.

Read & Learn continuously

Life can be stressful, especially with busy or challenging work and school schedules. It's hard to escape the feeling of stress and anxiety from a hectic lifestyle. Fortunately, reading can actually help lower stress levels. Not only that, but it can also help you sleep better at night.
discipline & self control .Reading helps mind its ability to attribute mental states like beliefs, intents, desires or emotions to others and to understand that other people have different beliefs, intents and desires than our own. When you read literary fiction, you're deepening your understanding of other people's thoughts, emotions and desires.

Value time

Good time management allows you to accomplish more in a shorter period of time, which leads to more free time, which lets you take advantage of learning opportunities, lowers your stress, and helps you focus, which leads to more career success. Each benefit of time management improves another aspect of your life.

Self discipline is a learned behavior. It requires practice and repetition in your day-to-day life. To improve your own self discipline, test out these 5 proven methods for gaining better control. This regimen will help you to establish good habits, break bad ones, and improve your control by making simple changes to your everyday routine. Improved self discipline will allow you to live a freer life by helping you to make healthy choices, not emotional ones. Give it a shot. Your happiness will thank you for it.

 Consistency

Consistency is a great characteristic to build and implement in your life. The key to consistency is setting and achieving specific goals. Start by determining how you want to be more consistent in your life, and aim for these small goals. Over time, as you become more consistent, keep yourself motivated and accountable. This may require some change in thinking so that you stay optimistic and productive throughout the process.

Create specific and realistic goals.

It’s hard to be consistent if you don’t have a strong idea of what you need to do. When starting your new path, create easy, simple goals with specific, measurable results.Start by defining what consistency means to you. Do you need to be consistent about your exercise habits? Are you aiming for a higher quality of work? Do you want to be more available and reliable in your relationships?Once you’ve identified your end goal, come up with smaller steps to reach it. For example, if you want to become more physically fit, you might set the goal to exercise for 5 days out of the week or to sign up for a class.Be specific,Instead of saying "I'm going to consistently appreciate my significant other," you might say "I'm going to thank my significant other when they wash the dishes, make dinner, or help out around the house."

Dream

Don't fill every moment of your day with Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. Just let yourself relax and your mind wander. Be careful not to let your mind harp on the negative in these little reveries. Close your eyes and let the mind free associate, even if there are no words that accompany this state. This is like a mini holiday in the middle of the day. Small refreshing daydreaming breaks help your mind integrate lessons and recuperate. You are also practicing being receptive, which is crucial to moments of wisdom and inspiration.

Do not afraid to fail or what people think about me

If you want to be confident, you need to learn how to stop caring what people think of you. If you’re like most human beings, you care what others think - it’s natural to want to be liked and accepted. However, when you start tailoring your life to fit the expectations of others, you only end up in a vicious cycle.
In order to stop worrying, you need to learn how to deal with opinions and criticism effectively. You also must learn to accept and love yourself for who you are. After all, personal development and self improvement starts with self love. If you want to be happy, you must make a conscious effort to stop caring what others think of you. It won’t be easy. But once you learn how to let go of the expectations of others, you’ll gain the self esteem you need to be able take full responsibility for your own life.

 Self awareness

Self awareness is a term that is thrown around a lot these days. Gary Vaynerchuck points to it often as one of the most important attributes an ambitious person can possess. What does that actually mean  to possess self awareness? Why will that help me in solving my problems? Self-awareness is having an accurate view of one’s skills, abilities, and shortcomings.Sun Tzu said: “If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles.”

 Gratitude

“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.” – Oprah Winfrey. we should atleast remember in our prayers all those who are behind us in each and every step of our life.Pause at regular integrals throughout the day and consciously find something that you are truly grateful for. Do not act or pretend. In every stressful situation search for one thing that you can say an honest thanks about. In order for this to work, it has to be a real and grounded thing that you can connect with. If it is too much fantasy then you will know that you are fooling yourself. Only the real attitude of gratitude has the power to change your emotional state. If there is nothing in your current situation that you can be grateful for think of anything in your life at any moment that you were grateful for. No matter how small that may seem, consciously thinking of that experience in a positive manner will help bring your emotional state into balance.

 Have a support system

The goal of social support is to decrease stress. If you are looking to decrease stress by developing a support network, start with people who are already in your life. You may want to make a list and determine who is healthy and positive and who is not. You may want to limit contact with the negative people in your life. Negative people can drain your energy and bring you down. Watch for these types of people who may be negative: blamers, liars, alcoholics, drug abusers and those who put you down. Your time and energy need to be invested on those who make you feel good about yourself. We should surround ourselves with like-minded achieve.

Planning a budget

Since budgeting allows you to create a spending plan for your money, it ensures that you will always have enough money for the things you need and the things that are important to you. Following a budget or spending plan will also keep you out of debt or help you work your way out of debt if you are currently in debt.!

 Manage  emotions

Emotional balance is the ability of the mind and body to maintain equilibrium and flexibility in the face of challenge and change. Emotional balance promotes physical health, and is a prerequisite for personal well being and growth.

love the journey more than the result!

LOVE YOURSELF ,

LOVE YOURSELF , it sounds little bit weird right, yes I mean it do you know why ?  You can make out when you finish this article. As everyone is behind the depression and suicide now, I'm here to discuss how to avoid such a condition.

I lost my mind and i'm trying to figure out yours, this is the present scenario we are going through, most of us ignore ourselves for the sake of others, a sacrificing parent, mistreated children, cheating relationship and so on. So where are we about to? Please dear stop your race with the challenging  life  for a minute and listen to me. I know the small small crisis and challenges due to this pandemic and financial issues cannot make you a depressive patient, but if you are not opening up your feelings to your dear ones how will it be resolved.

OPEN UP

All of us should open up our feelings to someone. who is this someone? the answer is simple the person whom you trust, who can silently hear you, the one who could fix your problem if not at least support and be with you in times of crisis. Its totally up to you! so by reading this someone came to your mind right . It's ok if you can't trust anyone leave it the next step will help you.

DISTRACT YOUR MIND

In some situations you may find it really tough to open up so the best way is to distract your mind. But how? its really simple if you are a day time person you will be busy full day and feel left out only at night time (vise versa for a night person) due to the burning stress in mind you feel  difficult to sleep, and the disturbing thoughts will come up one by one so what you have to do is,
  •  Listen to some music( please try to avoid that sentimental                  playlist from your phone).
  •   Play any brain games if you are weak at it try the one you                   like.
  •    Read some religious books if you have belief in God,                        even  detective novels will help.

Try this for at least three months I'm sure you will feel light

SLEEP

Minimum 6-9 hours of sleep is required for a human body. moreover , a tight sleep can resolve problems too. For the couples I have a request, please please solve your silly fights and go to bed. We should never be a problem to our loved ones unconscious mind. Why unconscious mind right? its a very deep topic which will be discussed soon with you.

BURST OUT YOUR TEARS

I don't want to show you anyone crying so no picture here.I'm not asking you to cry in front of others , but please don't keep your feelings controlled, let them flow off. Let it go dear. When you are done start to think positive about the stress which you made you cry.

LOVE YOURSELF

Yes , I mean it love yourself, sometimes it's ok to treat yourself with your favorite goods or food, you can even go outside and have a walk, breathe in and out, smile to all those unknown persons. Just feel the world we are   living.

SEEK HELP

Even after trying all this out for at least two weeks and if you feel no difference at all, please seek the help of some expert counselor or a psychologist.

Once again LOVE YOURSELF and BE YOURSELF, try again and again until you achieve your goal.

HOW  WOMEN'S HEALTH CAN BE  BOOSTED WITH SOME HEALTH TIPS ?

Women need more health care  access and the health care system  than men just because they are very much vulnerable to certain diseases.Studies also reveal that women has a weaker immune system than men. They also have more chronic non-reproductive health issues such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, mental illness, diabetes and osteoporosis,While part of this is due to their reproductive and sexual health needs.

TIPS TO IMPROVE WOMENS HEALTH

EAT A HEALTHY DIET

Eat as close to a natural foods diet as you can, That means a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables and fewer processed foods. Eat whole grains and high-fiber foods and choose leaner cuts of meat, fish, and poultry. Include low-fat dairy products in your diet as well — depending on your age, you need between 800 and 1,500 milligrams of calcium daily to help avoid osteoporosis. Avoid foods and beverages that are high in calories, sugar, salt, and fat.

Healthy eating will help you maintain a proper weight for your height, which is important because being overweight can lead to a number of illnesses. Looking for a healthy snack? Try some raw vegetables, such as celery, carrots, broccoli, cucumbers, or zucchini with dip made from low-fat yogurt.

If you’re not getting enough vitamins and nutrients in your diet, you might want to take a multivitamin and a calcium supplement to make sure you’re maintaining good health

EXERCISE

Heart disease is the leading cause of death among women in America, but plenty of exercise can help keep your heart healthy. You want to exercise at least 30 minutes a day, five days a week, if not every day. Aerobic exercises (walking, swimming, jogging, bicycling, dancing) are good for women’s health in general and especially for your heart, says Sabrena Merrill, MS, of Lawrence, Kan., a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor and a spokeswoman for the American Council on Exercise.

AVOID RISKY HABITS

Stay away from cigarettes and people who smoke. Don’t use drugs. If you drink alcohol, do so in moderation. Most women’s health studies show that women can safely consume one drink a day. A drink is considered to be about 12 to 14 grams of alcohol, which is equal to 12 ounces of beer (4.5 percent alcohol); 5 ounces of wine (12.9 percent alcohol); or 1.5 ounces of spirits (hard liquor such as gin or whiskey.

MANAGE STRESS

Manage stress. No matter what stage of her life — daughter, mother, grandmother — a woman often wears many hats and deals with a lot of pressure and stress. “Take a few minutes every day just to relax and get your perspective back again,” Novey says. “It doesn’t take long, and mental health is important to your physical well-being.” You also can manage stress with exercise, relaxation techniques, or meditation.

HEALTH CHECK UP ON A REGULAR BASIS

A woman’s health needs change as she ages, but the basics of women’s health remain the same. If you follow these six simple healthy living tips, you will improve your quality of life for years to come.

Check for breast cancer : The American Cancer Society no longer recommends monthly breast self-exams for women. However, it still suggests them as “an option” for women, starting in their 20's. You should be on the lookout for any changes in your breasts and report any concerns to your doctor. All women 40 and older should get a yearly mammogram as a mammogram is the most effective way of detecting cancer in its earliest stages, when it is most treatable.

FERTILITY AND BIRTH CONTROL

Many women have no problem getting pregnant in their late 30s and even into their early 40s, a woman's fertility may start to decline as early as 32. So if you want to have kids, talk to your doctor about options, like freezing your eggs.

Birth control gets a bad rap, but not only can it keep you from getting pregnant before you're ready, studies show it can lower the risk of uterine and ovarian cancer as well as regulate your cycle.

SUN SAFETY

Excessive exposure to the sun’s harmful rays can cause skin cancer, which can be deadly. To protect against skin cancer, wear sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 15 if you are going to be outdoors for more than a few minutes. Even if you wear sunscreen faithfully, you should check regularly for signs of skin cancer. Warning signs include any changes in the size, shape, color, or feel of birthmarks, moles, or freckles, or new, enlarging, pigmented, or red skin areas. If you spot any changes or you find you have sores that are not healing, consult your doctor.

TIPS TO PREVENT DISEASE

  • One way to prevent disease and infection is to avoid smoking. You should also avoid those who do. Secondhand smoke can be as dangerous as smoking.

  • Other known risks to health include drugs and alcohol. For women, a moderate amount of alcohol is 12 ounces of beer, 5 ounces of wine, or about 1 ounce of spirits each day. One five-ounce glass of wine a day may help cut heart disease risk, but more than that increases your risk of cancer and other conditions.

  • Good dental and oral health goes beyond a blindingly white set of teeth. Daily brushing and flossing keeps away cavities, gum disease, and even your physician, as having healthy teeth and gums might reduce your risk of heart disease.

  • Take vitamins and minerals especially if you are a lactating mother or of age 50 plus.

  • Visit the doctor Other than breast exams and gynecological visits, you should make sure to visit your doctor regularly for checkups and screening exams. You should have blood work, biometric data such as blood pressure and weight, and other preventive testing measures done at your yearly physical.

DEAR WOMEN BE STRONG AND HEALTHY.

“I am a strong woman. I don’t sit around feeling sorry for myself, nor let people mistreat me. I don’t respond to people who dictate to me or try to bring me down. If I fall I will rise up even stronger because I am survivor and not a victim. I am in control of my life and there is nothing I can’t achieve.”

POMEGRANATE A PROVEN SUPERFOOD FOR HEALTH

POMERGRANATE,this ruby red fruit is delicious and healthy. But pomegranate benefits your mind, body, and skin even more than you'd expect. They contain a range of beneficial plant compounds, unrivaled by other foods.Studies have shown that they may have several benefits for your body, possibly lowering your risk of various diseases.

NUTRIENT PROFILE

One cup of pomegranate (174 grams) contains,

        Fiber: 7 grams
        Protein: 3 grams
        Vitamin C: 30%
        Vitamin K: 36%
        Folate: 16%
        Potassium: 12%
The pomegranate arils are also very sweet, with one cup containing 24 grams of sugar and 144 calories.

NUTRITIONAL COMPONENTS

Pomegranates really shine in their wealth of powerful plant compounds, some of which have potent medicinal properties. responsible for most of their health benefits.

Punicalagins

Punicalagins are extremely potent antioxidants found in pomegranate juice and peel. They’re so powerful that pomegranate juice has been found to have three times the antioxidant activity of red wine and green tea .Pomegranate extract and powder is typically made from the peel, due to its high antioxidant and punicalagin content.

Punicic Acid

Punicic acid, found in pomegranate seed oil, is the main fatty acid in the arils. It’s a type of conjugated linoleic acid with potent biological effects.

HEALTH BENEFITS OF POMEGRANATE

Pomegranate outshines many other juices in comparison, according to a 2008 collaborative study between the University of California and the Rambam Meidcal Center in Israel. Pomegranate juice contained the highest concentration of antioxidants studied – even more than red wine, Concord grape juice, blueberry juice, black cherry juice, a├žai juice, cranberry juice, orange juice, ice tea and apple juice (in that order).

HEART HEALTH

Heart disease is currently the world's most common cause of premature death .It’s a complicated disease, driven by many different factors.Punicic acid, the main fatty acid in pomegranate, may help protect against several steps in the heart disease process.

A 4-week study in 51 people with high triglyceride levels showed that 800 mg of pomegranate seed oil per day significantly lowered triglycerides and improved the triglyceride-HDL ratio .Another study looked at the effects of pomegranate juice in people with type 2 diabetes and high cholesterol. They noted significant reductions in “bad” LDL cholesterol, as well as other improvements .

Pomegranate juice has also been shown — in both animal and human studies — to protect LDL cholesterol particles from oxidation, one of the key steps in the pathway towards heart disease ..

Finally, one research analysis concluded that pomegranate juice reduces high blood pressure, which is a major risk factor for heart disease.Several human studies have shown that pomegranate can have benefits against heart disease. It improves your cholesterol profile and protects LDL cholesterol from oxidative damage.

LOWERS BLOOD PRESSURE

Think of them as stress relief in edible form. Harnessing the power of their antioxidants, pomegranates have been shown to improve systolic blood pressure (the top reading that shows the pressure in your arteries when your heart beats). When it comes to systolic blood pressure, the lower the better, and according to a study from the Lipid Research Laboratory at the Rappaport Family Institute for Research in the Medical Sciences in Israel, pomegranates achieve this by ensuring that arteries are clear of plaque, which leads us to the next wonderful benefit of these fruits.

CONTROL CHOLESTEROL

By promoting a speedy clearing of the arteries, pomegranate juice also has tremendous effects on cholesterol. Another study out of the Lipid Research Laboratory analyzed pomegranates' many effects on cardiovascular health, finding that drinking concentrated pomegranate juice led to decreased cholesterol levels. Again, we have the polyphenol antioxidants to thank for this. A similar study from the same laboratory followed patients over the course of three years, finding that a daily ounce of pomegranate juice cleared out 30 percent of atherosclerotic plaque (the kind that hardens your arteries and can impede blood flow to the rest of your body, at worst causing a heart attack or stroke). Overall, drinking pomegranate juice appears to be an overall boost for your heart health.

COMBAT INFLAMMATION

Antioxidants also work wonders on inflammation throughout your body, and pomegranates work their magic on even the most painful arthritis cases, including rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. Studies have shown that pomegranate extract doesn't just reduce inflammation but also helps alleviate pain and even fights against cartilage degradation.

INHIBITS CANCER MAINLY PROSTRATE AND BREAST CANCER

Several studies show that pomegranate juice inhibits cancer cell growth and even gives those cells an extra nudge to go ahead and die (a process called apoptosis). A 2012 study out of the Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology showed that pomegranate juice prevented the proliferation of a particular human prostate cancer cell, while an earlier study from Florida Atlantic University found similar results with regard to breast cancer cells. According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, it's not just the seeds, but the rind and oil as well, that work against cancer cells by reducing blood supply to tumors, in effect shrinking them. While relatively few studies have been conducted with human participants (many have been in vitro), it is clear that pomegranates have the potential to be a powerful anticancer agent.

 BOOSTS IMMUNE SYSTEM

More recommends drinking pomegranate juice as it effectively concentrates the beneficial nutrients in pomegranate seeds, for a more potent product. "The antioxidant activity of pomegranate juice can be as much as three times higher than that of green tea and red wine," she explained. Specifically, pomegranates contain three types of antioxidants: tannins (which have made red wine famously healthy), anthocyanins and ellagic acid. Antioxidants are important to keep the cells in our bodies healthy and able to fight off viruses, keeping down inflammation and preventing organ damage.

IMPROVES MEMORY

There is some evidence that pomegranate can improve memory. One study in surgical patients found that 2 grams of pomegranate extract prevented deficits in memory after surgery.

Another study in 28 older adults with memory complaints found that 8 ounces (237 ml) of pomegranate juice per day significantly improved markers of verbal and visual memory .

Studies in mice also suggest that pomegranate may help fight Alzheimer's disease

SUMMARY
Pomegranate seeds owe their superfood status to polyphenols, powerful antioxidants thought to offer heart health and anti-cancer benefits. ... In addition to antioxidants, pomegranates are a source of fibre, B vitamins, vitamin C, vitamin K and potassium.

Eating pomegranates as a whole can have anti-inflammatory effects and can protect a human body from various diseases like type-2 diabetes, and obesity. 2. Regular consumption of pomegranate helps in improving gut health, digestion, and keep bowel diseases at bay

LIFE AFTER COVID- 19 WHAT  CHANGES WILL OCCUR IN OUR LIFE?

COVID-19 is a vicious disease, whose pathogenesis appears to be unlike anything that most physicians have ever seen before. The virus can trigger a widespread endothelial failure, which explains the extreme hypoxemia, the thrombogenic state, and the extensive end-organ dysfunction that progressively leads to death. Cytokine storm contributes to a large number of fatalities. Social distancing is widely recommended, but variably practiced. The disease has had a profound deleterious impact on economic activity. Furthermore, physicians are learning that many of their established therapeutic algorithms do not work in patients with COVID-19, and they may make things worse. Two old familiar drugs -- chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine -- have been recommended, and when used in high doses, have led to death, presumably related to their well-known proarrhythmic effects.

CHANGES WHICH CAN HAPPEN AFTER THIS?

We’ve seen it all during this global public health crisis; overwhelmed hospitals forcing patients to sleep on the floor; mounting fear of being in proximity to others; but also the importance of a robust healthcare system. As a consequence of our collective and individual experiences throughout the pandemic, things will change in the healthcare landscape. Below we discuss three of the most significant changes we’ll experience.

1. An unprecedented toll on healthcare workers

During this global tragedy, it’s not only the economy or the population that are being affected but also the healthcare professionals on the frontlines. The latter are enduring extreme work conditions and sacrifices in order to help the infected. Despite a shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE), they show up to work using DIY-solutions like ski goggles and bin bags with a high risk of being infected. Many are working overtime and witness patient after patient succumb to the disease.

“The anxiety of knowing you might be at risk when you’re doing your job can be very challenging for health care workers,” says Terri Rebmann, a nurse researcher and director of the Institute for Biosecurity at Saint Louis University. “It’s physically and mentally draining.” This will lead to an inevitable spike in burnouts among the healthcare staff. Even before the novel coronavirus outbreak, some estimated nearly half of the world’s 10 million physicians had symptoms of burnout. Now imagine after COVID-19…

Moreover, war-like scenarios where unclaimed victims are laid to rest in mass graves in New York are taking an additional toll on the medical personnel. More than burnouts, we will see frontliners with symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). After this pandemic subsides, we will have to brace ourselves for the aftermath on medical professionals on the frontlines.

2. Diminishing trust in the globalized world

In the pre-pandemic globalized world, we enjoyed a certain level of trust we mostly took for granted. We could travel almost without limitations, meet people without restrictions and order products worldwide. This will simply change after billions of people had to stay indoors for weeks.

We will not be able to travel that freely or enjoy the supply chains of the world so easily. We will think twice before going somewhere or to meet someone. The pandemic is already exacerbating signs of social anxiety and agoraphobia. Regaining trust takes time and these trends will take place for months after lockdowns are lifted.

3. Focus on the healthcare system

It’s tragic how the pandemic highlighted the shortcomings of healthcare systems worldwide. The overburdened hospitals need an upgrade on every level from their infrastructures to their processes. These will be needed to ensure a safe environment for the personnel and patients, as well to better cope with any emergency situations.

artificial intelligence and COVID
For example, one of the reasons speculated for Germany’s comparatively low death rate is its good intensive care situation. Digital health showed its aptitude to deal with such a crisis. We can expect to see many governments put more focus on healthcare. They can adopt similar strategies employed by other countries that better managed the crisis. As people in the frontlines of the fight witnessed, with inefficient healthcare systems, we will not be able to handle the next outbreak.

WHAT WILL CHANGE FOR SURE?

While we’ll unfortunately witness the toll on our healthcare workers and face reduced trust, other changes could take place depending on countries, duration of lockdowns and even personal experiences. Here are three changes we could see emerge as a result:

1. Get your new travel document: the immunity passport

Such a passport will function in a similar way to how passports and visas work. If you are certified to be immune to the virus, you will get a pass to resume your daily routine, and if not, you will have to stay indoors. The U.K. government is already considering it and other countries might follow suit.

It might even become a requirement to travel to a country. As a matter of fact, it’s already happening. In mid-April, Emirates Airline conducted rapid COVID-19 blood tests on passengers travelling to Tunisia from Dubai. “This will enable us to conduct on-site tests and provide immediate confirmation for Emirates passengers traveling to countries that require COVID-19 test certificates,” reads a statement from the airline company.

This sounds a lot like a divide between the haves and the have-nots and is the subject of ongoing debates. Some might voluntarily go out to catch the virus in the hopes of gaining immunity to it. There will be the lingering fear of unemployment due to being forced to stay in isolation without such a passport. Moreover, testing for immunity will inevitably result in false positives (people incorrectly identified as immune), undermining the efficacy of such a passport altogether.

Digital Health And The Fight Against The COVID-19 Pandemic
We would like to contribute to the fight against COVID-19 with a free e-book. We have done a lot of research to present the topic in a comprehensive and easily accessible format. You will find up-to-date, reliable information about the latest innovations, technologies, and trends in the context of COVID-19, and the best examples of 14 digital health technologies already sent to the battle successfully.

2. Surveillance as an ongoing public health measure

No one wants to be surveilled, but what if it’s for greater good? That’s what certain governments had to resort to in order to facilitate contact tracing. Countries from Germany through Israel to Singapore are using phone tracking data to locate and alert those who might be infected. South Korea went the extra mile by using CCTV footage and bank transactions in addition to phone use in its tracing process.

This could lead to certain governments, in particular totalitarian ones, to erase a layer of privacy from citizens’ life. It brings a whole new dimension to privacy and ethics issues like we’ve seen in South Korea. But under the guise of another major public health crisis, such measures could become the norm.

3. Brand-new habits

Awareness for personal and public hygiene measures saw a surge thanks to the contagion. Health authorities are advocating for regular handwashing with soap for at least 20 seconds. Social distancing measures are in place. People are getting used to wearing facemasks for grocery shopping.

These new-formed habits could linger way after lockdowns are lifted, leading to overall better hygiene. We might see people wearing masks wherever they go and unintentionally be more cautious around our elderly. Dr. Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease in the U.S., even thinks that we should never shake hands again.

WHAT SHOULD CHANGE ?

Even if things will change, not everything might change. Certain aspects of healthcare should change to better attend to our post-pandemic needs. Let’s see three of the major changes we should see in order to make for a more compelling healthcare setting.

1. Artificial intelligence as a necessary tool

We have stressed the need to implement artificial intelligence in the healthcare setting for years, but the novel coronavirus’ damage highlighted this need even more. We saw how an A.I. platform assisted in sending out the first alerts of the outbreak. Algorithms are used to help screen for those potentially affected. A.I. can help hospitals manage their resources. It’s even in use to speed up vaccine research.

These developments go on to show that A.I. will help us better prepare for the next public health crisis. These algorithms aren’t solutions in themselves but rather tools aiding professionals to perfect their craft.

2. A shift in the point-of-care

The importance of digital health solutions was made clear during these challenging times. They are ready-made options to bring healthcare to patients, rather than the other way round. Telemedicine’s use skyrocketed. We have a whole article dedicated to digital health apps helping people during the pandemic. Devices like digital stethoscopes, portable ECG monitors and digital otoscopes can be used at home and the results shared remotely with doctors.

These eliminate doctor-patient visits whenever it’s avoidable and also help reduce the risk of cross-contamination. Such devices should become commonplace, shifting the point-of-care to the patient.

3. Sustainable solutions

If this pandemic taught us anything, it’s that our life (as it used to be) is not sustainable for our planet. We all had to experiment with digital solutions, be it virtual meetings for work, digital education for students and virtual events instead of in person conferences. These proved not only to be effective but also an environmentally-friendly way to operate in a connected world.
